Who it’s for

The DELTA 3 Plus makes the most sense if your main worry is keeping the house running through a winter outage — furnace blower, fridge, lights, internet — and you want room to grow. It’s also a good fit for a cabin with power tools or appliances that need real output.

It’s less suited to carrying around. At 27.6 lb it’s manageable, but if portability matters more than output, the Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 is lighter with similar capacity.

How it handles winter

Output is its strength. Furnace blowers can draw several hundred watts with a startup surge on top. With 1,800 W continuous and 3,600 W surge, the DELTA 3 Plus has headroom to run a blower and a fridge at the same time.

The UPS function matters more in winter than people think. When the grid drops, a switchover under 10 ms means devices plugged into it — like a furnace control board or a modem — typically stay on without rebooting.
